New Jersey authorizes its notaries to perform online notarizations pursuant to N.J. Stat. §§ 52:7-10.9 & 52:7-10.10.

In addition, New Jersey recognizes online notarizations that are properly performed by notaries of other states. The applicable interstate recognition laws are N.J. Stat. §§ 52:7-10.14, 46:14-6.1, 41:2-17, & 2A:82-7.
